Laboratory ALS Minerals
Description Rock samples of visibly mineralized rock, or rocks exhibiting features associated with mineralization, were preferentially collected and analyzed for geochemical trace elements and rare earth elements. These samples were prepared by ALS Minerals in accordance with their PREP-31 package which involves crushing the entire sample to less than 70 percent passing -10 mesh (2 mm), then splitting off 250 grams and pulverizing the split to better than 85 percent passing 75 microns. Samples were analyzed for trace elements and rare earth elements using: Inductively Coupled Plasma - Mass Spectroscopy (Lithium metaborate fusion - HNO3-HCl dissolution), X-Ray Fluorescence (Lithium Borate Fusion), Inductively Coupled Plasma - Atomic Emission Spectroscopy (Fire assay - aqua regia digestion), Inductively Coupled Plasma - Atomic Emission Spectroscopy (HF-HNO3-HClO4-HCl digestion), and/or Inductively Coupled Plasma - Atomic Emission Spectroscopy (HNO3-HClO4-HF+HCl digestion).
