Rock samples were prepared at the DGGS Geochemical Laboratory by air-drying before screening at minus-80 mesh. DGGS analyzed samples for copper, lead, zinc, gold, silver, molybdenum, antimony, arsenic, and cadmium using Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy after HCl:HNO3 (3:1) acid digestion. Other samples were analyzed by DGGS for copper and zinc, cobalt, nickel, iron, manganese, cadmium, and chromium using ICP-AES after HCl:HNO3 (3:1) acid digestion. Some results may be below the lower limit for that element and method. Additional analysis were performed by Bondar-Clegg where sample preparation information was not available. Bondar Clegg analyzed the following: 29 rock samples for copper and zinc using Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy; 223 rock samples for tin using X-ray Fluorescence; 255 samples for tungsten using Colorimetric methods after Potassium Pyrosulfate Fusion; 76 samples for mercury using Cold Vapor Atomic Absorption; and 44 samples for arsenic using Colorimetric methods after Potassium Pyrosulfate Fusion. |
