Description | Sample preparation methods were not documented. 38 samples were analyzed for major and minor oxides by X-ray Fluorescence after pellet fusion. The 38 samples were also analyzed for the following trace elements by the following methods: gold, silver, antimony, arsenic, lead and molybdenum using Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy after HCl:HNO3 (3:1) acid digestion; cadmium, chromium, cobalt, copper, iron, manganese, nickel and zinc using Inductively Coupled Plasma- Atomic Emission Spectroscopy after HCl:HNO3 (3:1) acid digestion; iron oxide using titration. Fe2O3 % values were calculated. |
