Gravel concentrates were produced by screening sediments at 0.5 in., then at 16-mesh (1mm) followed by hand-panning and removal of undersize. Samples were analyzed for Au using unknown method. Samples were analyzed for Nb, Ti, Y, Zr, and REEs using inductively-coupled plasma mass spectrometry; for concentrations of Ti, Nb, W, Sn by x-ray fluorescence. If Sn concentration exceeded the 20,000 ppm upper detection limit of XRF, samples were processed via multi-acid total digestion and then fire assayed. |
