Description Samples shoveled from stream bars and (preferentially) cutbanks. Samples were then measured, screened, sluiced with a regulated water flow and further reduced by panning. Measured sample volumes were multiplied by .80. Some samples were colleced with a floating suction dredge w/ 5-in diameter intake. Subsequent sample volumes were estimated by measuring resulting cone-shaped excavation. Heavy-mineral samples further prepared with heavy liquid and magnetic separation (Bromoform used to float light minerals). Heavy fraction was magnetically separated, and weighed. Non-magnetic fractions from 37 samples (36 + 1 regional granitic background sample) were analyzed with energy-disruptive X-ray fluorescence spectrometry. Table 1 provides a percent concentration of tin in non-magnetic concentrate. Analysis performed on minus 14-mesh non-magnetic concentrate from 36 (minus station PB10410 plus 1 regional grantic background sample) samples. Samples analyzed with energy-disruptive X-ray fluorescence spectrometry. Table 2 provides trace element analysis as a concentration in percent of non-magnetic concentrate. Tested for Nb, Ce, La, Ta, Th, and W.
