Description The sediments recovered from the auger hole or shovel were pan concentrated until it was judge by the panner to recover 100 percent of all minerals with a specific gravity of 3.3 or more. The samples were weighed, screened to minus 10 mesh, tabled, and magnetically separated. The magnetic separated product was also weighed. Acid soluble iron, equivalent TiO2, and radiometric uranium equivalent analyses were completed. The samples that contained insufficient heavy mineral to table were only screened to minus ten mesh before the Acid soluble iron, equivalent TiO2, and radiometric uranium equivalent analyses were completed. Gold and platinum analyses were made on samples in which more than trace amounts were observed in the field.
