Description Stream sediments were collected from the finer sandy portion of the active channel or deepest most active part of a dry creek bed. The sample was dried and screed at minus 80 mesh. Pan concentrate samples were collected from the silty, poorly sorted material in the active channel. One 16 inch gold pan was filled with material that passed through a .25 inch mesh screen. The sample was panned to a 50 to 100 gram sample. Rock samples were taken as random chip samples across a geologic unit of interest. 1 to 2 pounds of chips was collected for each sample. Analysis for Au, Pt, and Pd was by fire assay preconcentration with an inductively coupled plasma finish by USBM Reno. Analysis for suite of elements was by aqua regia digestion with an atomic absorption spectrophotomerty finish or an inductively coupled plasma finish by DGGS. Chrome was analyzed on lithium metaborate digests.
